hahahahaha this is hilarious. i cant tell whats funnier, the girls, the show or the comments. bravo!!! i love it all i have no idea when this show aired (you left the years out - its 2009 btw) but i hope its still going. its timeless, regardless. I just discovered this site. quite a phenomenon. so much to digest. so many levels.

I totally agree with mags, a haircut would do wonders for mary's bottle blonde, 30something look she has going. A sharp, sassy haircut is definitely the answer.

i have an issue, which is that you girls behave like YOU ARE from New York. but you are NOT. Mary you are from Texas . i could call you a a big blond bimbo with a way to big hair and round face and a freaking snob. but i am not. so if you are actually trying to have your 5 minutes of fame , you should really change you way of thinking. Julia is from Chicago, right? at least you are not really sooo in your face liek people say, you are your blog is funny to read and you do have a point . your humor is very sarcastic and that is what most of the people do not like. Sabine hit the nail on the head. Your little venture is going to fail miserably if you don't use a little introspection and see just how catty and bitchy you come across... to each other. It's blatantly obvious in both the show and your blogs that Mary and Julia cannot stand each other!

"1) Jealousy is not going to get you anywhere." I agree. But shouldn't that comment be directed at Mary? Why or how is it acceptable that the "hosts" are catty bitches, but it's not for the commenters? And, while we're on this oh so cliched topic, what about these women should evoke jealousy? This "show" is not some high budget, difficult to produce series generating oodles of revenue and money. Anyone with a camera and a burning desire to have people pay attention to them could do this. There's no money coming from this. At best the girls are getting free blueprint cleanse drinks. The press hasn't caught on, there's no "buzz" online except where Julia plants tips. The reality? This online "show" isn't cultivating an audience. Half the comments are fake. The last post got all of about 5 comments. Instead of catching on, this show is floundering. It is quite possible for women to dislike other women and be justified in their opinion. It doesn't mean they're "jealous." That's what we all tell ourselves when we're not emotionally evolved enough o accept the possibility that maybe we're just not all that likeable/interesting/smart as we need to think we are. "2) Hating on other people won't make you feel any better about yourself." Hear that Mary? Oh, wait, that was directed at the commenters. Funny that you're saying to us exactly what we're saying to the hosts. Also take notice of the fact that comments that call out and criticize Mary are being left up. Don't need the Scooby gang to figure out the person behind the delete comments button, eh Julia?

Julia, it may not be what you want to hear, but I do believe it depends on the guy, and that when you find the right one - the one that you are proud to be with and call your boyfriend, that you have no hesitations about closing off other options for because you know how perfect he is for you and that no one else will compare to that, and, most importantly, that you fully trust is not going to break your heart, even if eventually you two stop being together for other reasons down the road. Until then, i think it's fine to choose not to call the guys you are dating your boyfriend and to not stress about it. When I moved to NYC years ago, I had a long string of relationships that lasted anywhere from a few months to over a year, and never once did I call any of these men my boyfriend. It never felt right. I got used to saying "He's not my boyfriend!" quite a lot, or calling them "Just the guy I've been dating" (even when it had been over a year). In hindsight, it was because I knew deep down they just weren't totally right for me and/or were likely to hurt me down the road. And, as others have said, it certainly hurts less - at least it looks that way to outsiders and allows you to save some face in case of a "break up" - if the guy was never your boyfriend. But its certainly easy to convince yourself its all just because you're the one who is commitment-phobic. Anyway, that all changed the minute I met the guy I've been dating for the past year and who I love and trust with everything I've got. Just sayin'. Till you meet that guy, enjoy the dudes you're dating and don't stress about labels. As cliche as it all sounds, when the right one comes along, I really don't think you'll question it. P.S. MJo, calling things gay is, like, completely gay.

The term "boyfriend" is completely gay. It's like, how old are you? 12? You and your significant other know what you represent to each other...why ruin it by using possessive, 6th grade terminology? I get a rush by being able to say his name (e.g. "I'm bringing Wendell to the party")and knowing that everyone knows he be my man. And, if anyone asks what his role is, I like to go the cheeky route, i.e. he's mah boo, my stud horse, sugar daddy, beau, love sausage, lovah, etc. Admittedly, it's quirky...but boyfriend just makes me feel like I need to write his name in a heart on my Trapper Keeper. FROOTAY!! Oh, and I love the site and the whole, "Tawk amongst yaselves" vibe.

Serioulsy, I don't understand why people waste time and energy spewing hateful comments. Go for a walk. Get off the computer and out of your basement and breath some fresh air. Personally, I love your site(s) because life is too serious as it is, and sometimes I need a break from my reality, and let's face it, you girl have a nice reality to view. No hating here! About the boyfriend thing...I seem to get boyfriends before I even know it. I spend time with a guy, then bam! they're calling me their girlfriend. Fortunatly for me, the last time it happened, I didn't mind and we're still together.

I really don't understand why all the people that hate the show so much would waste time out of their sad, sorry, important lifes to comment. Incase you haven't realized, I don't think this show is meant to be about intelligent and enlightening content - not that I am doubting J, M & M's intelligence at all - it's just a bit of lighthearted and fun viewing. Sheesh, some people take themselves way too seriously.. go and watch the news or something and don't watch a channel called "TMIWeekly" because, you know, that just screams to me intelligent, serious and politically correct broadcasting. I find the harshness of the above responses somewhat disturbing. It seems pretty obvious that such an emotional, even cruel response ("Now you've just made everyone feel bad, girls") isn't proportional to harms that these women have done to others. In fact, the strength of the response doesn't seem to map to demonstrated failures of moral character in any other way, either. Really, it seems another icky manifestation of our culture's mainstream acceptance of the ugliness required to enforce our sense of justice, which carries with it what I believe are an outdated and deeply harmful set of norms. People who reach for things they don't "deserve" based on our idea of merit perhaps look silly, but if they aren't succeeding at the expense of the more "worthy" (and these people aren't, if you want to call them successful--they're targeting a previously unserviced niche) there's no call to hate them. Everyone wants things she can't have, to be more beautiful and smart and captivating than she is. To strike down other people who reach to fulfill that desire will only increase your self-hatred. Also, I pretty much only date men after I've already fallen in love, so the b-word's always OK in my book.

I think this show is pointless. I don't even understand what this website is about. It's you guys talking about yourselves, and dressing up and going out. WHO CARES? I'm a woman around your age who actually worked for what I have. I don't come from a rich family, I put myself through grad school. Whatever it is you do, it is nowhere near enlightening, or entertaining, or intelligent, or funny to me, and I'm in your demographic. None of you are remotely interesting, honestly. Watching this makes me cringe because you're trying to be really natural and funny and it's blatant that you are all preening for the camera. You come off as quite shallow, superficial, and maddeningly boring. I would not choose to hang out with any of you, so why would I want to be privy to your conversations about dating? You don't do anything worthy of attention. I can honestly say after reading about Julia for over a year on Gawker, I've never read or heard one thing she's said that resonated with me in any way, that caused me to think, or question, or want to know more about her. Mary just seems like a nasty person honestly, full of herself, spoiled, and none too savvy with fashion. I think you should move on, I really would be shocked beyond belief if this site took off, because it's all about you three, and it's universally acknowledged that none of you are tremendously likable in your current incarnations.

Yes, no one is forcing us to comment or to look at you silly monkeys, but we are women who are bloggers, interested in blogs, and avid blog readers and YOU asked our opinions. There is little to no actual content in these clips. You and Julia are to busy trying to one up each other and step on each other's words. Pick a topic, prepare, have a conversation. It's not brain surgery. We're super critical because you make it so easy to criticize. You're competitive and snarky, but not in a "love to hate" kind of way. You're just unlikeable in a "hate to hate" kind of way. You really need to listen to yourself and watch your body language and mannerisms and voice. You come off totally unpleasant "most of my jokes come from personal experience, so try to find the humor. " But...what if we don't find it funny? Are you actually trying to justify your commentary by deflecting and making it about how we, the audience, have no sense of humor? Maybe try to be a bit more accountable. Yet another reason why you come off so poorly. You act like you're perfect. Mary, dear, you are not. You are not a glamazon or fashionista. You're a girl who has lived a pampered existence who wears hand me downs and rented clothes. You earn probably a quarter what I make in a week. I just hate how the word "boyfriend" sounds so... juvenile? It's like, why aren't there any other terms besides that one, "my man," or "my boo"? And in regards to that last one... oh God. I'm pretty new to TMI but I love you girls already!

S - I totally agree. It took meeting the right man for that defense mechanism of "keeping my options open" to come down. But, I had finally learned to just "date" rather than put to much pressure on who someone might turn out to be or whether they have a place in my future or not. Hanna - The show shoots once a week, then is split into three episodes focused around each "topic" of the week, so you will usually see the same outfit three times.

I understand being afraid to use the word boyfriend because it kind of closes off other options, but if you find the right person, you will want to do that. I mean, anyone would be afraid to close off options when they're with a person they don't have very strong feelings for! I was never a "boyfriend" girl, never thought I would like anyone enough to call them my boyfriend, until I met someone that I WANTED to call my boyfriend. Its all about the person.

If that's the rule you're going to enforce, then the hosts should lead by example. Three women sitting around sniping at other women is likely to incur a tad bit of a wrath from other women, don't you think? Sorry girls, but a large part of your audience watches because they simply want to see what offensive/dumb thing you'll say next, not because you're interesting.

You can't take a "no negativity" stance when you use the phrase "jersey whore" not once but twice. No, Mary wasn't joking. Somebody has a hard time "wrapping her mind around" the fact that being skinny isn't enough to get and keep a guy. They actually want you to be pleasant and intelligent too. Imagine that. You don't want people calling you out? Reign in your insecurity, hatefulness & nastiness. Maybe the men who chose those "jersey whores" chose them because they weren't such soulless, self-absorbed, entitles witches. Agree with Hannah...Mary, get a new outfit. Not only is it badly outdated, it is ill-fitting. Odd that you were wearing that when calling other women whores.

I'm 100% with Sheryl on this. And I personally never had that "boyfriend" phobia. I'm very free spirited and when in relationship it has to be with a guy that's not jealous, one that understands I need my time with friends, some alone time or whatever. I believe your fears are more about loosing a guy then about commitment, if that makes any sense.

I know some of the comments on this latest webisode are a bit more scathing than usual, but Christ on a cracker, folks...lighten up! Blind insults are hurtful, not helpful! Anyhoodles, since when did otherwise smart single women start deciding to turn into emotionally-stunted single men? I'm all about gender equality, but I'd still like to think that we ladies were always smarter and far more actualized about the whole idea and healthy benefits surrounding relationships and commitment than our far less evolved male counterparts. Yes, love is a gamble. Love can hurt like Hell when it goes wrong. And it's very easy to want to put up those walls rather than allow yourself to be the one devastated and alone if the love you fought for ends up not working out in the end. But that's the whole point of relationships! And that's what makes pursuing love such a grand and delightful pursuit---when you find that right person, that guy who makes you PROUD to call him your boyfriend, you suddenly get it. It's not a big deal unless you CHOOSE to make it a big deal. Why continue to deny a simple yet meaningful and often flattering label and simply just go with the flow? If a guy calls you his girfriend, take the compliment and roll with it! See what happens and enjoy the ride, ladies! I'm just saying, life is all about leaving yourself open to all sorts of new people, new ideas, new situations, and new experiences. In the grand scheme of things, not allowing yourself to even be open to the idea of allowing yourself to be called a 'girlfriend' and/or call someone you've dated over several months a 'boyfriend' is simply not living. Or not living the full and emotionally open and free lifestyle every educated human being truly deserves to live. You girls are smart, resourceful, attractive and funny. i totally agree with Julia. it takes me forever to start using the b-word. I don't know what it is, but i'd just rather say "I'm dating this guy..." Ive been dating my bf for over a year and i still don't like the word!!!

I am the definition of a commitment phobe. I always knew it but never realized the extent of it. I have been sleeping with the same guy for 10 months, and he gave me a toothbrush to house in his bathroom drawer during the second month. I have yet to call him my boyfriend and CANNOT bring myself to do it. My friends started commenting on the "sans title" status four months in and now refer to him as my non-boyfriend. At this point, I am still very OK with not making it official. Clearly, he and I both have issues but such is life I suppose. Maybe I'll fix this problem someday when I decide it counts...

I think the word boyfriend is so scary because once you have a boyfriend only 2 things can happen a) you marry them or b) you go through a break up. Yeahh, that's kind of scary. Also, I want Julia's dog. She is the cutest thing ever!

Why is everyone just bashing the hosts? If you don't like the podcast, don't watch it! I think it is NEVER ok for a man to call a girl his girlfriend until prior consent by her. I've had multiple men drop the G-bomb, in front of me, and it got me really upset. They are making assumptions about the depth of the relationship before talking about it!

I'm from Jersey and didn't take offense! We're not all without senses of humor! I was once afraid of the 'Boyfriend' word when I started dating a guy. It was just because it came on too fast. He was perfect for me in every way (and still is, 3 years later!) but I was just not ready to slap down the approval for the boyfriend/girlfriend word useage. Luckily, I got over it and we're still together!

One suggestion for you guys - when you click "leave a comment" it doesn't open in a new window, so when I clicked it I missed the last 25 second of the show. You might want to ask them to code it to open in a new tab/window so we don't miss any of the action... I guess in this case I just missed a BTS discussion on Mary's boobs and Mason's wang, but still! And, I, too, became a boyfriend-phobe around the time my college relationship ended (which was a couple of years after college). If I think someone wants a "girlfriend" that they can call their "girlfriend," I sprint in the other direction. I can usually tell this by date two, so date three is a rare feature in my life.

BTW, I'm not drinking wine up there, I'm drinking Blueprint Cleanse lemon juice.
