Mary, you are great on camera! You are a good interviewer and very natural. You should branch off and do your own thing! These on-location shoots - with just you and a guest - are SO much better than the three of you sitting awkwardly on a couch.

This episode makes me thirsty! I'm excited to try to make Sangria on my own.

I really love the Jalapeno Margarita, for the same reason that the Braeburn chick loves the Respasado tequila - the balance of smoke that it brings to the margarita.

I've done it without all the excessive seeping before and it is still fantastic - just not as potent. I like it with Poblano Chili peppers as well.

As a side note, as a former West Village dweller who spends a vast majority of my time there, I feel compelled to note that in my humble opinion Braeburn is not a good restaurant. Visitors to NYC can look elsewhere for a much better meal.  

I agree with Mary that the West Village has amazing dining- I can list at least 20 restaurants within walking distance of Braeburn that are much better -- 10 Downing, Mary's Fish Camp, Extra Virgin, San Ambroseus, Cafe Cluny, Blue Ribbon, Pearl Oyster Bar, Blue Hill, Ditch Plains, 'ino, Little Owl, Perilla, Market Table, Grey Dog Cafe, Mexicana Mama,  Snack Taverna, Bar Pitti, Bar Blanc, Fatty Crab, Minetta Tavern, Centro Vinoteca...etc..etc.. I'd even say that Morandi is better or Taim, the  falafel joint near the Waverly Inn, which also gets better marks from me than Braeburn.
