Meghan learns the basic of eating raw from nutritionist and health expert Natalia Rose. Plus Meghan learns a simple pumpkin pie soup recipe that you can do, too! Less[-]
I really liked this episode, but do you happen to know what amount of each veggie goes into the soup? i went to make it and realized i have no idea how many cups of carrot juice i need...
Ha, that's funny Sarina - her books are filled with scientific and medical facts, have you read them? And she's a certified nutritionist... obviously you are not.
I'm glad you featured Natalia as I'd like to know more about her way of eating. But I wished you would have asked her to explain why she's so keen to promote a raw-food diet and how she got into it, rather than her top tips at the start. I appreciate you have limited time though, and the soup at the end looked very tasty.
Meghan, have you read any of Natalia Rose's books? I'd hardly call her a "health expert." Her books are filled with misinformation and food theories that have absolutely no basis in scientific or medical fact. Please do a little more research before bringing on guests and passing them off as experts .... or at least offer a counterpoint or another view.
After eating WAY too many Sprinkles cupcakes this weekend, I've decided to make Natalia' pumpkin pie soup to detox from all the processed sugar. It really does taste like pie filling!
