It's definitely not just the South! I think that it's a midwest thing as well. I think the people who don't feel the pressure are the people on either coast. I live up in North Dakota, I'm single, 27 AND I'm a wedding photographer. Most of my brides are between 22 and 25. I definitely feel the pressure because at my age it's hard to find a single man up here! Sometimes I feel like Candice Bergen in SATC when she talks about being single over 50 and how it's a very small pool of men to choose from. It's really hard for me and just continues to get harder as I get older.

This was a great episode!  Being married in my twenties as well, they talked about shared money, growing together.
