I rushed to see “The September Issue” opening day.  I was super-excited to see the genius that is Anna Wintour in action and, believe me, she does not disappoint. 

But the breakout star of the movie for me was Vogue’s Creative Director, Grace Coddington.  Her creativity and fortitude inspired me to produce my own shoot.

With the help of some friends, I executed everything from beginning to end – location scouting (ok, so it was my own apartment), casting, (my girls), styling (Lizzie’s forte), lighting, posing, shooting… 

I loved being behind the camera and think I may have found my new calling.
