Each year 15 billion alkaline batteries are thrown away, crowding landfills and wasting our resources. I’m guilty of contributing to this environmental blunder by owning WAY TOO MANY non-rechargeable batteries, instead of making a conscious effort to change my selfish habits. I’ve always made the excuse that there are too many wires and chargers to contend with.
