Do you judge a potential boyfriend on their gadgets? Meghan, Julia and Mary discuss what cell phones are turn ons and turn offs. And what do you think about a 12,000 phone? Leave us a comment at TMIweekly.com.
I would say that I don't judge but definitely changes the way I think about someone because if they have a shitty phone then it means they don't take tech serious. IMO.
People really have to grow up, this isn't supposed to be serious or find the cure for cancer. Lighten up. But seriously, my vote's for the BlackBerry. We'd be phone soulmates!!
I think each girls answer is honest and funny , and like your shoes your gadgets make a big impression on you. Sad but true! but i also say it's the way you carry youself with the gadget if your just constantly whipping out your i-phone for ridiciously annoying reasons....i know you have 3g the earths not flat get over it!
JA: I think iphones are gay too. It seems like everytime I go out to a bar, all the guys who have iphones are just sitting alone playing on them. And once, a guy tried to pick me up with his iphone by asking me to play connect four on it. wow. Blackberry is so my thing.
The thing I think that guys are finding disturbing is the fact that this appears to matter to girls. I actually think this is a very insightful show, because first impressions do count. Towards that, I think Julia has a serious point here in that a Blackberry user is always assumed to be 'working' and an iPhone user (which I am) is always assumed to be 'playing'. In social settings, I have to work hard not to pull out the damn thing, except when it is needed by the situation. Love the show, keep it up!
If your laundry list of what you want in a man is all about what kind of gadgets he has and whether he's entreprenurial and ambitious etc etc and not that he's a decent and compassionate human being, you'll never find happiness. I suspect Meaghan seems to know this. Mary, not sure. Julia ... not at all.
I'm a big fan of you girls and all but I can't help but agree with some of the comments here.. this topic is just way too fluffy for grown women, and I know you just want to talk about pure fluff and fun on TMI, but you're obviously smart girls and I feel like you're dumbing down for us.
Still using my Treo 680, just waiting for some more Android options to choose from. I'm a geek, function first, form barely matters. ;-) Palm OS is getting pretty old, but it just works. And if I were to go Windows Mobile it'd be a Treo Pro first choice. iPhone - no physical keyboard, no sale. BlackBerry - maybe the Bold, I'll have one soon to play with. (Work related - I have a plethora of cell phones for testing things for work.)

easy. both. blackberry for business. iphone for playing ibowl, bubble pop and general dorking about. but to answer your question... gadgets so matter. if i'm out for dinner with a guy and his whips out a samsumg, LG et al... (ew, i feel sick) it's a deal breaker. over. bye boy. shallow topic this is not. i wish more men in the uk cared...
This is really a sloppy topic...Come on don't waste time on shooting such videos.......I guess u r shooting vids same day coz u got same costumes.... As a Male i don't give a shit abt what my GF thinks regarding my Cellphones....She doesn't care either unless i come in Ferrari with nokia 3310....And finally Stop hurting lilly....lolllll
Are you serious? You really care about whether your guy can afford a nice car or cell? Or do you only give even the most basic consideration to guys who can afford both an iPhone and a Blackberry, so that the real question boils down to which one he chooses? Dude, this is disappointing.
I agree bobcat...this is super far reaching girls. Can we come up with something a little more relevant? Who cares about a PDA? If you do care, it's sorta sad and totally explains why you can't find your happiness.
This is a three minute internet video. It's not in the running for a Pulitzer. It's not SUPPOSED to be super deep, baby!

I am SUCH a mac-aholic (totally with you, Meghan!), and I always end up dating PC guys. I have absolutely no idea how this happens (although the mac vs. pc fight at the beginning of a relationship is now a staple of that early flirty stage, which I find hilarious). Personally, I don't really care what types of gadgets he has as long as I don't ever have to use the crappy microsoft ones. That being said, there's something sexy about how... ahem... good with their hands the mac guys can be, especially on the new mac notebook's trackpad :)
