I think this was my favorite episode! I love food.

I've had the snackimals before. We sold them at a restaurant I worked at called Evos (www.evos.com) and I used to eat them all the time.

I went a year without eating them and then finally came across them at the 'Health Nuts' store in NY and man they made me have to go to the bathroom a lot.

I love all the foods mentioned. And I do love Whole Foods, especially because I live like a block away from it. One of my most favorite snacks is organic baby carrots though.
[ And, just get a life, sabeen...you poor miserable soul.]

I'm a big fan of crackers and guacamole. I also tried saltine-jam sandwiches after Carrie mentioned them on SATC (shut up), and they are damn good.

what exactly are mary's credentials in terms of nutrition?  

I love trader Joes snacks my favorite is the dried fruit chips ;)

since when could we only post "positive" comments about the show? I kind of agree with Sabeen, only I find the uncomfortable and immature moments UTTERLY FASCINATING.

on the health tip, I make green iced tea with lemon and honey and bring it to work to sip in my SIGG bottle. Low in calories, high in antioxidants and seems to kill snacky cravings, at least for me!

Now, why 3 very pretty women under 30 are so obsessed with diet and health food is another issue....

Unrelated, but having just seen on JA's blog the photos of her pink apartment and bedroom, complete with a teddy bear on her pillow -- uhhh, just a guess, but I think you might have your answer about why your boyfriend won't stay at your place. You're almost 30, no? That's offputting, to say the least. Didn't you see How to Lose A Guy in 10 Dates?

Imagine going to his place and finding his walls covered with Halo posters and his bed with racing car sheets. Would you not run like hell?

Mary I would also be curious for any breakfast/lunch/dinner ideas.  You seem to have a really positive and healthy outlook on your eating habits but you can't possibly have all the time it often takes to prepare so many of the healthy meals.  I know I don't!

I LOVE barenaked granola - the one with mango and agave is especially yummy!  The problem with the granola (& nuts) is that it is actually pretty high in calories.  I always struggle with that.
Also - I love juices but can't see myself being able to always make them.  Any brand suggestions.  I know they aren't fresh but it could do.

I love this episode because I'm a self-proclaimed health freak when I want to be. My favorite "healthy snack" is yogurt covered goji berries from Himilania. They are the perfect snack - not too sweet but are really healthy. The only problem is their  price tag.

I'm going to take a break from the sniping to add that TARGET of all places (yes TARGET) has an awesome series of organic snacks from the Archer Farms brand. The other day I bought their organic fruit... I guess basically fruit roll-ups, but not because they don't make your teeth stick together and they lack the fake crap.

One wildberry snack is 45 calories and complete with anti-oxidants, a tasty sweet treat when you have a craving. Target, I'm telling you! 

Well, last I checked, this was a public forum. I don't need anybody to agree with me to feel confident in my opinions. You know, like how Julia has been with that whole sleepover issue? And my opinion is that Mary is a spoiled bully and the majority of content discussed is pointless. watching these three interact is fascinating in a human behavior study kind of way.

Oh, and YES this show will end. Not because of my comments though. But this show will end. Being pretty doesn't pay the bills at Next New Networks.

Great show again ladies!  I love seeing what you're up to, and even what your snacking on!!!!
And Julia, from one  'plus size gal' to another, congrats on the wonderful wardrobe.  I wish I had your budget :) You look fantastic. 

No. It's not. Watching is like being a guest at Thanksgiving dinner with a dysfunctional family. It's uncomfortable. Hard to focus on the "content" (and I use quotes there) when you're picking up on so much underlying nastiness. I, too, found the way Mary grabbed the bag away from Julia to be harsh and nasty. She acts liek a petulant child. And when someone says "Please don't throw that at my head" and the person continues to do so (and it's 6 years old) it's kind of disturbing and indicative of other issues. The pettiness in all of these clips is palpable. Mary is a bully. It's sad to see the way Julia and Meghan both cower to her and let her get away with acting the way she does instead of kicking her out. 

SherylSp, you're exactly right. We're just goofing around and trying to make it fun. All of us are great friends which is why we can be so candid with each other. If we weren't friends, then I could see how our banter might come off as offensive. But we started this business on the strength of our friendship, and we love sharing our silly side with you.

I am really trying to focus on your show's content, but the delivery of the content is completely distracting. Mary, you come across as incredibly mean and vindictive - the bratty way you snatched that bag from Julia gives me chills. It's obvious that Julia and Meghan are snickering at you. Please ladies... if you don't at least do a better job at pretending to get along your venture will never get off the ground!

I have an active lifestyle myself and love me some healthy snacks and meals, so I usually agree with your choices on that end of the nonsociety spectrum, Mary.

Like Bonnie here, I'm also a fellow dried apricot/almond snacker as well. Dried cranberries are another good option. Carrot sticks or celery stalks are always good snacking options too, and I usually start off the day with a VERY low cal/nonfat cup of yoghurt on the go.
((tough to eat while driving, of course, but I manage!))

I also love to include a can of low sodium V8 with my snacks-on-the-go too if I can. 
My only real regular fridge indulgence is a dill pickle. I know, talk about sodium city, but who doesn't love to suck on a big fat pickle?
Better for me than cupcakes, I guess!  ;-)

I love how Mary's pretty serious the whole time about her topic while Julia and Meghan just laugh the whole time and can't sit still and make a mockery of what Mary's trying to say... 

Very informative. Personally, I am a fan of dried apricots with a handful of almonds for a healthy snack. Whole Foods also sells a good line of organic cereal bars that are sweetened only with fruit juice -- good for a breakfast-on-the-go.
