Julia - I totally get the whole necklace thing. I definitely bought myself this small lotus pendant off of etsy over the summer after my boyfriend cheated on me and it took on an almost magical comforting quality. I like how you wore it until you were back on your feet - my goals for 09 are to get rid of the ghosts of relationships past and I somehow lost my lotus necklace. I was upset at first, but then I realized that I didn't need it anymore - I'm finally back on my feet as well. =)
Just got an answer on what Mary is planning to do for the poor for Christmas direct from from JA's Twitter :"I have GREAT news, bunny! I just bought FIVE NEW VELOUR JUICY COUTURE tracksuits at Bloomies. Never say die, Juicy! Bwa"
Please note- she has no job ( Obviously non society is not a paying gig)
Mary- you are your own worst enemy
Girls, what are you doing volunteering / charity wise this holiday season? Or can you not get past your own selfish obsessions with boy friends and appearances for 5 minutes?
I think you girls need to try the best moisturizer in the world and it is cheap. I have used it for years and my skin is also as smooth as a baby's butt. It's call AVON Moisture Therapy. You can get it at http://jloeffler.avonrepresentative.com.
You girls keep up the good work.
I wonder how old most of the commenters on this website are. I feel like the target audience for this show is probably women in their twenties and early thirties, and yet the frequency of people leaving comments with the sole purpose of insulting one or more of the hosts suggests a much younger age.
Isn't the urge to write negative things about other women something we should have all outgrown in high school? Surely there are more positive uses of our time.
You should ask Julia that, being that her TV appearances were evolving around insulting celebrities.
OR Mary when she writes passive aggressive comments on her blog regarding her "sisters."
(That being said, Mary, my dear, I believe you are the classiest of the three! I think the other two could learn a lot from you. And all of you Meghan fans, get over it. Meghan: close your mouth and stop elbowing your neighbor. I liked Meghan waaaay more when she didn't talk.)

I wish I didn't have to turn up the volume to hear Mary! I can always hear everything fine... until Mary starts whispering. SPEAK UP, WOMAN!
I'm so glad to hear you guys liked this episode. I had a BILLION products to talk about and couldn't get them all in.
Stuff I love that wasn't mentioned will be on the blog tomorrow. So come back for a little more :)
These episodes are getting much, much better; less nervous, awkward flirting with the camera (except for Meghan, but she's always been the most camera-shy) and more genuine, casual back-and-forth. I think this was the original goal, and you're getting there.
Also, haters need to back off of Mary; the girl is actually pretty clever and has a sense of humor.
Finally, I think you can afford to lengthen each episode without compromising the breezy, fluffy tone you guys are beginning to nail. The problem with supershort episodes (especially your earlier ones) is that they seemed more like previews for something yet to come, rather than a consummate final product. It's getting better on this front, but I think an extra minute or two on each episode would enhance the feeling that you're offering something substantial.
anyway, keep up the good work.
Mary, please ditch that dress or donate it to the Salvation Army, you probably spent a decent amount of money on it, but for being the "fashionista" of the group, your outfit looks a little off from the rest of the gals. Seriously, it looks like something I could have found at some "meh" store in Queens.
And I totally agree with Julia in respect to the rational spending on shoes. 0! They're fab shoes, don't get me wrong, but I don't think the majority of your viewers can afford it, especially right now. I give props to Julia for admitting that she buys shoes from Aldo-they're durable, stylish, and hey! 0-ish at the most. PLUS MARY you're like barefoot during most of these TMI shoots. I'm kinda confused.
Mary, you were so perfect in this episode! Such a good episode.
On the other hand, Julia, ugh. She just never says anything worthwhile. She ruins these episodes.
Actually, it's just Du Wop lip plumper. The stuff is magic.

I mean, now it is. Dr. Bobby did plump my lips, but that was six months ago. Still, great stuff. Totally a fan of it!

Mary, I am SO impressed at how far you have come! You sound so passionate and informed about the products you discuss. You love talking about them and it shows. Good for you!
Julia, must you make everything about you and your failed relationships???
"A running joke"?
A joke is supposed to be funny, no?

It's also called "disruptive and annoying."

Time to let it go. You dated the guy for what, a couple of months? You're attempting to reach out to women who might have had marriages break up, or relationships that went on for years end. Let it go, it's insulting to your audience. A running joke? What is the punchline?
Mary, you were awesome in this episode. You are so natural on camera; you have a real gift. Meghan too.

I wish there were close ups on the other jewelry the way you did with the celeb style ring!
I am so glad I am not a female who feels the need to spend 0 on a pair of shoes. I feel like I am going out on a limb when I spend 0, and almost always spend significantly less.
I do not understand why someone would switch lotion with guys. Shouldn't his odors (deodorant etc) remind you of him? The only reason I can think of that a lotion you are wearing reminds you of another person is that fact that you are switching. It seems to me that the act of switching causes the association.
Why should the lotion you wear remind you of a guy?
The part about Julia's lips cracks me up! I am glad you decided to leave it in. Props to Julia for having the confidence and a sense of humor about it, because almost certainly the regular bashers will fiest on it.
