I'm glad that the shaving or Nair option was thrown in at the end, but surprised that laser hair removal or professional waxing seem to be the most favored options in this department for young women. I'd be interested to learn more about Julia's cost-benefit analysis of laser vs. waxes, but assume that all of the money involved would be better in a savings account or used to pay off credit card balances that are sure to accumulate when living this way. Personal hygiene and feeling good about yourself is important, but I wish this had been presented as more of an extreme option than something that we might all want to consider. Perhaps a poll of your viewers on their preferred options would be interesting; if the entire audience likes to blow money they don't have on luxuries like hair removal and manicures, I'll back away with my tail between my legs.

Lasering looks crazy! I could see where it was zapping your skin, making it puff up. Pretty awesome. I wish I could use a laser to affix an awesome moustache to myself ... FOREVER
